IOCC 201:
Write a 750 word paper on the value of the spoken word. Think about what Ms. Bernstein said about he power of reading to a child and our deep connection to the oral text in this class (we read aloud Homer, OT, NT, etc). Due the first class after your exam. You may do outside research but use good sources and cite them (recall your Rhet 102 class), but it is not necessary to do any outside research.
